According to Ahok, the zero-hole target should have been achieved in December 2013 because Jakarta Public Works Department is one of work units (SKPD) that received big allocation of city budget (APBD).

“That’s why I said this department’s problem is always about project. There are many things go wrong, we must make it right,” he asserted.
Related to the accident that killed a father and his two children in Cilincing, North Jakarta, Ahok assessed it happened because of careless driving and also damaged road factor. However, Jakarta Provincial Government has no authority to regulate the traffic of heavy vehicle with excessive loads.
“We have no rights to do it,” he said.
